BeeZee Bodies is commissioned by HCC to run weight management programmes for children aged 5-15 years and their families. Aimed at 5-15 year olds and their families, the course covers topics from healthy snacking, balanced meals, portion size and keeping active together. 

We also offer our BeeZee Families course online - 'BeeZee Live'!  Families can stream our expert family nutritionists directly into their home. Click 'DETAILS' for more information.

Our BeeZee Lite service is for families to help kickstart their journey to a healthier, happier family. By booking a one hour, 1:1 appointment for health and wellbeing advice, tailored to the family's specific needs, we can help them address any challenges they face in maintaining a healthy household.

A youth boxing intervention class, run by the countywide award winning BoxCleva, offers a route into boxing via professional and engaging coaching.  Suitable for 7-15 year olds.  Cost £1 per child per session.  Every Thursday 5 - 6.30pm at Hertford Wellbeing Hub.  Boys and girls welcome, term time only. Exchange is a place for people to pass on good quality things they don't need, to people who need them, free of charge.  We are a community group based at Bishops Stortford Baptist Church.   We are open two afternoons a week, by appointment or "drop in".

Bringing Up Confident Children with ADHD

This 6 weeks programme provides support, information and resources to parents/carers and adult family members so they can help their child reach their full potential. Sessions will cover : * ADHD - a whole-family issue * Understanding your child’s behaviour * Helping your child manage their feelings and outbursts * Balancing support of siblings * Learning new parenting strategies to address challenging behaviour and to make a difference in your family life.  

This is an online programme delivered every Tuesday from 28th September to 9th November 2021 12.30 p.m. to 2.30 p.m.  To make a referral via Frontline click 'REFER'.

The Wellbeing Service is delivered by the Refugee Council across Hertfordshire and Essex. Delivered by qualified and experienced psychological therapists, the service offers a safe and confidential space for refugee adults, families and separated & unaccompanied children to access wellbeing support, with a view to increasing resilience and confidence, and improving pathways into wider training and employment opportunities.

Applicants must have a BRP or Home Office Letter as proof of eligibility to access this service. This includes: Refugee Status/ Humanitarian Protection/ ILR (Settlement)/ DLR (over 12 months – as result of asylum claim)/ Resettled refugees and Family Reunion.

This community-led project offers support for people living with a life-limiting illness or experiencing loneliness and isolation. Trained Compassionate Neighbours visit members of the community regularly to combat social isolation and offer a listening ear, companionship and emotional support. 

Please note:  We take great care to match referred people to volunteer neighbours, and sometimes there may be a delay in a volunteer being available.   We will acknowledge your referral and add in the notes what the status is, to keep you informed.
